Waste sector workers are the unsung heroes of our cities. Yet, many work in unsafe conditions with little recognition, support, or protection.

The Waste Forum is committed to improving their lives by:

• Training workers on occupational safety and proper handling of waste.

• Providing access to protective equipment (PPE).

• Advocating for fair wages, social protection, and formal recognition.

• Creating inclusive platforms where workers’ voices can be heard.

When we protect waste workers, we protect our cities and our environment.
