Each edition of the Forum strengthens our resolve to turn waste into opportunity and move closer to a Lagos that is clean, green, and livable for all.
The Lagos Waste Forum (LWF) hosted its 2024 Meet-Up at Radisson Blu, Ikeja, bringing together key stakeholders in waste management. The President of LWF and the Forum Coordinator led discussions on innovative solutions for human, animal, industrial, agricultural, and recyclable waste, highlighting LWF’s mission to transform waste into opportunity for a cleaner, sustainable Lagos.
From our beginnings at the 1st Lagos Waste Forum at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island, to the successful 4th edition held at Radisson Blu, Ikeja, the journey has been inspiring. Together, we explored solutions for human, animal, industrial, agricultural, and recyclable waste, reaffirming our collective mission: to build a Lagos that is clean, green, and thriving for all.
Day 1 of the 5th Lagos Waste Forum kicks off at the prestigious Radisson Blu, Ikeja, bringing together government leaders, industry experts, innovators, and community stakeholders to discuss practical solutions for sustainable waste management. The opening sessions will set the stage for dialogue on medical waste, plastic pollution, food waste, and the role of policy in creating cleaner, healthier cities.
Day 2 of the 5th Lagos Waste Forum at Radisson Blu, Ikeja, focuses on actionable strategies and collaborations to drive sustainable impact. Sessions will spotlight waste sector workers’ rights, open defecation free (ODF) cities, and tackling pollution for healthier communities. Stakeholders will exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and strengthen partnerships for a cleaner Lagos and beyond.
